While on campus they will gain invaluable experience being a camp buddy/working with children of different age groups. Learning different aspects of Camp Barrett and working together as a team to help younger campers have a summer of fun and new experiences. Weekly they will also go on various day trips and have the opportunity to participate in daily camp activities. Our Purple Division campers often return at 15 years of age to our CIT division.

Our CIT's (Counselors In Training) are a a volunteer division. CIT's are the first step in a young adults camp career and are required to fill out a CIT application. CIT's help out on campus with facilitating camp programs and while learning foundational workplace skills in a supportive structured work environment. Our CIT's often return as our Assistant Counselors.
