Watts
William Applebie Eardeley (1870-1935), a well-known genealogist who lived in Brooklyn, compiled a genealogical history of the Watts family. Arthur Wardell, his friend and fellow genealogist, helped with the compilation towards the end of Eardely’s life. Eardeley also compiled genealogies on other Long Island families wrote books on the histories of Springfield/Jamaica and Flushing, a congregational church in Stamford, CT, and a presbyterian church in Freeport.
